If you do go the route of doing it yourself be careful peeling the the old one off and scrape all the old glue off the backing before trying to glue it back on. I used the 3m formula 80 to do mine the second time after the loctite stuff didn't hold.

It'll probably tear or disintegrate when you pull it off, any fabric store sells headliner material by the foot so its just easier to get fresh material to start over with. I think I spent 30 whole dollars and two hours redoing mine

In my opinion, pull the headliner yourself and take it to a shop that does this. Reinstall yourself. That cuts out a lot of labor from the shop. Concidering how brittle these can be and never have done this, you can have a mess on your hands and spending more cash. Yes, I have my own shop and yes I've sent people back out to find another headliner. But, if you're adventurous, by all means give it a shot. dYI members here have installed their own with good results.

Really it's very easy. Already thought of DIY write-up. Made mine in several days. Wrapped it in suede.

Mine was a bit broken on the angles. And I took some epoxy resin, some fiber cloth and did it. Sanded till it was smooth wrapped with eehhh, dont know how it's in english, what is under the stock cloth on the headliner. Bought it in the furniture shop for 2$. 1square meter. Glued it to the headliner and then the suede. Can maka a write up, if ya need))

i did mine over a month ago. simple to do. rub off the old foam stuff. be careful when you do the curve part. leave alot of fabric to make the turn when you start gluing and cutting.
