Thanks fellas, yes they are polished

I bought them off the vette forum and they were powder coated gloss black.......ugh.....so I stripped and polished them in the garage
I'll never do it again lol
they aren't as shiny as a unmolested set of ccws
Bit in the end, I'm happy

Thanks again for comments !!!!

Here's a pic as they were, ok but I think polished looks compliments car better

me???????

I haven't used any in years, all the ones I've used in the past just absorb dirt and living a 1/8 mile down a dirt road now (used to be a mile down a dirt road) I just don't care to turn tires brown.

I just use some tire/wheel cleaner, scrub it then pressure wash it to get the dirt out and leave the tires natural. I've thought about giving this type of stuff a try as it wouldn't suffer from the issues the others do.

just a pressure washer will do a pretty good job getting the dirt off the tires, thats how I cleaned up the tires on my firebird last week and here is the car today.
