I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell the difference between a reproduction such as those produced from RK Sport and an OEM which would have came from SLP.

I was told there may be some part numbers on the bottom but was never further told how to verify this information. Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't really pay much attention to my 97ss spoiler on the underside, but I did notice it had stamped "made in Canada GM" on the top side behind the 3rd brake light.

I have an 02 SS and it has "SLP NO 10088" on the third break light on the underside. I don't know if it goes the same for 96/97 but worth a shot.
