Pretty sure I've seen it done. But you're definitely not in the best place to be asking about mods in a second gen. This section is almost completely 4th gen fbody specific. Sign up on the nastyz28.com forum and ask the same in the interior section there. You'll get much more info.

i have a 71 camaro im still working on but havnt got near the engine or interior phase. Still working on suspension and frame work.

Here's my car.... Paint shop just needs to wet sand and polish and motor going in.... I feel your pain.... Rearend and suspension was not cheap!!!!

My buddy Jason doin the work... He's out of Pinole.... I didn't know him tell we started this car.... Now I can't say enough good things about him.... So if your like me and hire people to build your car.... He's the man! He will take it from a rusted out shell..... To you driving it to the car show!!!! Ss Shaun ain't got nothin on him
