wet sanding headlights. Clear coat realy needed last??

No. Buffing them is what clear them up to a like new shine.

Ebay Spray Max 2K Clear. A can will run you twenty dollars. It's a real 2k clear. I cleared my rsx headlights with this after restoring them. They haven't deteriorated at all in two years. If you spray this clear you don't have to polish them all way out either. You only need to get to about 1000 grit in smoothness.

This is with the Sylvania coating, don't mind the dirty car it has been sitting for a while.
