Default de-ricing the car...PICS

I decided my car had too much going on, a little overdone. Here is the plan to tone it down:

Phase 1:
  • remove headlight covers
  • remove Z28 from grille
  • remove side moldings
  • lower car 1.25"
COMPLETE: PICS BELOW

Phase 2:
(In progress)
  • replace Xenon front with Wings West
  • replace black billet grille with DG Motorsports "CAMARO" insert
  • MBA billet CAMARO inserts for grille
Opinions please on this plan!

Did you get my PM about the grille? I think your plans sound pretty good, especially the !headlight covers.

So you already lowered it? I think this is a good move for you. Looks like you could of kept the Z28 emblem on the grille but whatever. I think the thing thats going to make the best difference is the front clip that you're going to change. Hopefully it all turns out well.

That looks very good.. have you considered going with the CF nose emblem? I would blend in a bit more..

Good work

I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber but I have considered a custom decal overlay for the badge - exact replica except the red stripe + bowtie would be silver - what do you think of that?

Is the area behind the grill paint black? Might look better if you couldnt see the center part behind the grill... just a thought.

Looks much better without the headlight covers.

I like the black billet grill. Elegant but not overpowering like a polished one would be. I also like the Z28 in the grill.

But hey, it's your car, I can do with my T/A what ever I want, right?

(I like the other changes)

I'd never car your car "rice" although I am not a fan of GFX on a F-Body. Your plan sounds good.

I'm with ya on the !Xenon. It just doesn't fit the front of the car well.

Actually, you car is the only one I've ever liked with the Xenon kit.

I, too, am not a fan of the GFX, but the rest of your car looks very nice. Do whatever will make YOU the happiest.

That would look good also.. the CF dosent really stand out on that badge but it does give it a "blacked out" look and makes it less noticable..

I think Blue Beast has it on his car..

Thank you for taking those headlight covers off, I never liked them and I think the car looks much better without them, your going in the right direction with things, nice car.

I like the glossy black SLP grille insert with the little red bowtie. Looks sharp on any car.

I have one too! I like my CF nose emblem it does give it a blacked out look. I say do the painted headlight mod, it looks really nice on dark cars.
