Default 2057 light bulb

Does anyone know how to distinguish the tail light contact from the brake light contact? Thanks in advance

one is slightly higher then the other, look inside the plug and line them up.

Daniel,

Thanks. Do you know which one is the high one?

no, just know when you look at the bulb from the side one "tab" is about half way up and the other tab is down toward the bottom, the later 4th gens went to the 3157 "wedge" bulbs wish solved this annoying part of bulb installs.

as for which pin is brake and which is parking, you'd have to test the socket to see which completes the circuit when turned on using a multi-meter.
