CME valence installed
Just the 6LEdesigns CME valence installed, but I'm not too happy with the fact that the local body shop couldn't get the body lines to match up on the sides. Should I tell them that they need to fix this, or is this typically how they look on the sides without additional sanding/priming? I don't want it blended, but for $427 out the door from a shop in Ohio, you would think that they could have gotten it to line up better.

Is that the tape that's visible, that has been painted black?

Actually, that price doesn't sound bad. Sounds like they painted it to match, and stuck it on for you. Might be what to expect without doing the full blend on the parts. Maybe someone else has more knowledge.

I don't think you got ripped off or anything. Wish they would have used one long chunk of tape, instead of separate pieces. Just wouldn't have stuck out so much. I'd say the only thing to worry about would be longevity, meaning that the paint was applied correctly. Other than that, I'm impressed. Going to purchase one of those soon myself.
Looks great!

Getting ready to do mine as well can't wait.I think they do stick out a fuzz, but it does look like yours is a little further out.It could be the pics though. Did your valence come with 3m tape already installed?
