Default Any Bird owners did this???

paint the peice between the tailights to match the color of the car? I was just looking at some postes and noticed a guy wanting to get rid of the bird on the back and it got me to thinking about painting the middle peice.

I'm just kinda upset about the black being on my red car and I was trying for a red/silver paint scheme.

seen pics... ulgy.

i have a plain black one on my car. My theme is red/silver as well.

I think it looks good, the only other idea i would do would be a CE one in silver.

I've seen it done before, painted black on a Black TA. I thought it looked pretty decent.

The Trans Am that GM team built to recognize the 35 years of the Trans Am had this done as well.

Also, check this post in the multimedia section:https://ls1tech.com/forums/multimedia-exchange/183601-titanium-grey-formula-pics-whatcha-think.html

That gives you an idea, I think it would be best to keep it a solid color. No two-tone color scheme...

Rob

EDIT: I think I get what you meant by that. You meant your car has a red/silver theme and you wanted to keep/add to it

you could sand down the panel to get it nice and smooth, polish it up, then clear coat it.here is a pic of my panel, I just removed the old decals then replaced them with silver one, Viola, CE Panel

damn I wish we had more options on tail lights!!!! I don't want clear ones at all! but I wish I could maybe change the black stuff to red(to match the paint better) and maybe change that stuff then. I'm just not a big fan of how they put different color schemes on these cars!

I personaly think that would be ugly, just go with all black to make it look like the back lights are all one piece.

Yeah I suppose that would be the best thing to do.

But if that silver car wouldn't have had those stripes it probably would have blended in better....... but the white car is just wrong!
