Car is apart for a new build. In the mean time im cleaning and painting some parts. How do you guys clean old gunk off of coil packs? Im scared to put them under water. Im using purple power and scrubbing. Any better way of doing this? Btw they are truck coils with the heat sinks

 

I just did this. I used denatured alcohol. They wiped clean very easy and look brand new.

Good idea on the silver brackets I think I may do mine a gunmetal.

 

Its a chrome paint. Looks like a raw aluminum finish. Not bad for a days worth of paint...anything thats black in this pic is painted with the vht wrinkle plus
