Default Shipping Interior Door Panels

Anybody ever box up, and ship a pair of interior door panels, for a '93-'02 Camaro/Firebird? If so, could you provide a rough idea what it cost?

I bought a pair of Firebird panels, with the idea of doing the tweeter/woofer component deal in my Camaro. However, things changed, and I wound up selling the car.

I might find a bigger potential to sell them on this site, as opposed to trying to "get lucky" with a local Craigslist ad. If I sold them here, though, I'd most likely have to ship them. If I tried Craigslist, it might take a LONG time to find a buyer.....

Largely depends on who you ship with. Pretty easy to get an estimate through the big companies. Get on a scale without the panels, then get in the scale holding them. Subtract the difference to get their weight. Add a couple pounds just to be on the safe side and to account for packaging. Stack them on top of each other the way you'd ship them and measure for dimensions. Plug those number and a zip code across the court from you (to get the most expensive rate), and that'll let you know what to expect.

Actually, I figured it would cost even more than that, depending on the distance.

I think I'll try the Craigslist option first.....

As far as boxing them, you can buy a plasma
Tv box from uhaul or if you have a tv box sitting around.

I shipped door panels for my old Scion tC. I figure they're roughly the same size / weight. But I took the lazy route. I brought the loose parts to the business where I had a private mail box and paid them to pack them. It cost a little extra for their labor and bubble wrap, etc., but I don't remember it being outrageous. The buyer was very pleased with how it was packaged.
