Default Fuel rail covers

Ok guys here's what I'm wanting to do, and need to know where it can be purchased. Basically I'm wanting pre-cut Corvette fuel rail covers, but all sanded down and custom cut for the LS1 Camaro, and the word "Camaro" in its place. It appears that Afterthoughts Auto makes these, but it says the are discontinued for now and will be available in the spring. Anyone know of any others that can do this?

Thanks

Had to make small mods to fit a f-body including adding the second fuel line slot which was a pain. A lot of sanding, but not too bad. DuPont BC/CC.They're up for sale if interested.

Did you relieve the area for the throttle bracket clearance?
Maybe you don't have the AIR/EGR anymore?
Just curious what the inside curve looks like on the passenger cover.

Ok so I didn't feel like spending a couple hundred bucks for plastic covers, so I got bored and had this done for free lol. Stupid little things, but it all adds up. Car is red and black so why not lol

http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/ls1...il-covers.html

I was looking at buying these after I finish some of the performance parts. But like you said... the price is a little depressing.

Worth it to me, though.

Seems afterthoughtsauto stopped with those at LEAST a couple years ago, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that. There are only a few notches that you will need to make to get them to fit, nothing too crazy. Just cut a little at a time, and of course do your cutting before you do any of your custom work. An angle grinder or dremel with a cutoff wheel will make short work of the cuts.

-If you don't feel like doing paint work, you can find pretty much any color in vinyl wrap these days, so that's an option worth keeping in mind.
-vinyl stripe kits are available on eBay to go over the stripes and "5.7L" raised portions of the covers

I just realized I probably can't run any of these covers due to having the LNC-2000. Just looking at it makes it look damn near impossible due to the harnesses and wiring. Oh well....solves that for any future thought lol

Sorry to revive this thread (it's still on the first page, to be fair), but you just crushed my dreams. That was one of the primary engine dress up mods I was looking for. My car is black and purple and I wanted black and purple trans am fuel rail covers that say TRANS AM or something. Is there ANY other company that does this, or do I have to learn how to paint?

you can always just take them to any paint/body shop and they should be able to handle the paint work.. Just do the cuts yourself before hand. But really, with such small items it's not the hardest DIY paint job

As for the letters, if you want decals just order some for the door emblems, that size works well for the covers. Or you can do some sort of emblems of you want something
