Default New carpet

Have any of you guys put a new carpet in. One that's not an OEM piece. I wanted the old Speed Inc light weight one. But they don't make it now.

Also when I read some.of.the descriptions of one's on eBay, they say behind rear seats but not into hatch area. The OEM one goes to the hatch but not in the trunk. I need one to go that high.

Also don't need it cut out for the console.

Thanks guys for any help!

I bought some from hawks and it fit like **** and didnt sit down deep enough around the rear seats so i actually had to cut that section to install the seats. The sun also bleached it out very quickly

You can try this as several people here have used it.

I had a aftermarket carpet in my camaro and it didn't fit well. Get an OEM carpet if you can.

I ordered the stockinteriors black carpet a few days ago, with the entire section behind the rear seats. I'm sure this will be a fun project for me soon.

I put in some of that 10 bux a roll carpet from AutoZone. Not the best by far but cheap and very easy to cut and get put down. It looks kinda dark gray in the pics but it's black..looks good enough for me. Mine is no show car...

I too ordered from stockinteriors.com. The carpet came in last Friday and I intend on installing this weekend!

In to see how the stockinteriors carpet fits. I've been wanting to purchase from them but hesitant due to concerns about fitment.

I got mine from rock auto.com

Didn't have a hole for the center console, and also has a variety of colors to choose from. It also went to the rear hatch area. Oh yeah, light weight also

I used Auto Custom Carpets in fbodies before and they were pretty nice. A lot of companies will make you cut out various parts as not everyone wants/needs holes in the same places.

I used the stockinteriors carpet myself. Black carpet, Plush with the extra Mass backing. you need to cut a hole for the center console, and of course trim all around the edges. It fit fine though.

If i was to do it again, I'd skip the extra Mass backing. It would have installed easier.
