I have a 1975 camaro and would like some pics! How hard was the install? Custom mounting brackets?

So I found one 6th gen console OEM pretty cheap and picked it up for the memes but it's was worth it. Fitment is perfect but the shifter may need to be centered over it being more towards the driver side.

Hey, man! Looks awesome!

What all did you have to do to get it secured?

There's some conversion kits out there that tie a servo to the gearing at the handle, very simple but expensive?? I wonder if the 6th gen ebrake could be used? It appears to work like a servo pulling a cable internally, but it has a lot kf electrical inputs to over come? But a used one of those is $80, but that se4vo aftermarket kit is $500......

You happen to have a link to that conversion kit?

I wish it was simple to hook up the brake lines to the electronic E brake button that’s on the console lol

Here ya go, it has its own switch..... I'm wondering if you could use the stock switch instead since it's just a push button.

That solenoid isn't small, the oe unit is more compact, im sure if i usd a pinout i could figure out how to make it work as a stand alone unit with enough time

I'm in the process of putting in a 5th gen console, and one hangup is the airbag module. Has anyone moved theirs? I'd like to keep airbags functional, so I thought I could move it and relocate it where I have room.

Quick Reply: 5th or 6th Gen console in 4th gen?
