Damn sweet looking ride. Nice to see a fellow Oklahoman on the board with a sweet ride. Those wheels are awesome! Also, nice job on the rebuild you really brought it back. Ever head south from Tulsa to come to the OKC area?

Justin

BTW: The lights are nice. I can understand what you mean about not going with the color.

I dunno, it looks old now. The new style taillights are much nicer IMO. If you don't like the amber, you can paint it with some Lens paint.

I think it looks good. I've been thinking of doing the same thing for a while now. I just haven't found a donor car yet.

I think you should flip those exhuast tips so they both face opposite directions... Right now they look extremely strange facing the same way... If you made both of them face in they would look a lot better!

Yeah, I have a black Z and wanted a black with red trim color scheme. I did my red trim and I thought it looked good, but when the amber lights were in the picture, it looked really 'off'.
I did clear corners and did away with the DRLs to keep my scheme pure... so I eventually did the tail light swap too and like it very much.
Now my whole car is black/red (except for the 10 spokes, but silver is pretty neutral, like the clear corners and BU lights).

i understand what you mean but the exhaust tips are slashed, so it would really be weird looking if they were flipped.

eventually i'm getting chrome tips anyway, after the valance gets painted ...
