So the clear coat is failing on the SS replica hood on my car. This has me thinking that instead of just considering repainting it, what are some good aftermarket hood options? I love the SS hood look but Im wondering if there is a site that showcases different options since I've never been bothered to look at what is out there. I'm not opposed to cowl hoods but they need to be well done.

If I don't see anything I like better than the SS style hood, then its back to that one.

I would not recommend a Harwood cowl. They used to be the icon of glass hoods but something has went wrong and there quality is terrible. I like the cowl design they have way better than the others but after two attempts at shitty fittinv hoods i was stuck. I would go sonoco or stay SS.

Number 1 for a catfish is Sunoco! #2 imo would be Ultra Z*

Sunoco hood for sure....they look amazing. If not then what he said for the 2nd option.

In order of preference. SS looks better than ultra z to me, but if I'm going to buy a new hood I'd go for something more unique. Love the harwood hood for 93-97, but not as much for 98+ since the lines don't flow as well, I could still live with it for the right price though. Don't think there are any others id even consider putting on
