Default Headlight Adjustment Maxed Out!!

I adjusted the left to right adjustment on the driver side headlight... it was aimed all the way over into the passenger side headlight's beam.

Now the headlight assembly looks odd (not centered in the body panel)

Any idea what would cause the aim point to be off so far? Had to max out the adjustment to get it back. Im guessing something is off with the housing??

Stock Headlights, 2000 Camaro SS.

Thanks for any tips or things to check out!!

Poorly seated bulb, or the housing isn't mounted in the bracket correctly.

Thanks. I checked it out closer last night. Headlight assembly was not seated in the bracket correctly. Good to go now!

Just in time for winter storage.
