Chrome rims or gloss Black?

I'm just old school I guess but I've never been a fan of black wheels. Even when they first started getting popular as an aftermarket mod and Saleen was putting them on New Edge Saleens. I've always thought, "do people running black wheels not like how their wheels look or want to show them off on their cars?" Dark black wheels hide their design until you get right up on them.
A perfect example of black wheels looking ugly on a car is the GEN6 Mustang GT PP wheels. Those cars look very ugly with those million spoke flat black wheels, but maybe black is the way to go with them as they would be a straight up bitch to clean I bet.
Chrome on black is sexy, but my personal favorite color wheel is a machine painted finish. I have polished C6Z wheels on my Camaro and polished is okay but I think chrome looks better than polished IMO.

Chrome or polished... I am not a fan of all black wheels. You see zero details until you are right up on them.

I'm also looking at wheels and facing the same decision between polished, chrome or black. I really like C6 wheels on the f-body Camaros, but have also been looking at the Forgestar F14 & CF5. Black seems to the best choice currently available from Forgestar, but I've never had a car with black wheels. They might look OK on my car given the color scheme, but it's hard to say. Forgestar has a sale/promotion going on right now, but it ends in two days. I hate rushing into something like this.
Here are a couple pics of my car. Thoughts?

Yeah, I've never had a car with black wheels. I think they can look pretty good on certain cars with certain paint colors. I think they "might" look OK on my car, but the prospect of dropping thousands on the wheels and tires to find out isn't incredibly appealing.
The Forgestar sale ends today and unfortunately their wheels don't seem to be available in polished or chrome, at least not directly from Forgestar. It seems like not having those options available would hurt their sales, but maybe they are as busy as they want to be, and perhaps those options would require additional overhead on their part that they prefer not to incur.

I debated the same thing, but when I noticed that every man, woman, and child, was opting for black wheels, I decided to go old school with a high/low polished combo. They are clear-coated and then ceramic sprayed (for what it's worth). These are Forgeline SC1's 19x9 & 19x9.5 F/R.
Yes, I do need springs, but not sure which set may provide a mild drop while maintaining sufficient comfort. With MRC it's a tough call.

Your going to get a lot of opinions as this is based on personal preference. On that note, chrome or polished usually looks best on a black car. My car is black and I went with polished. I would think this applies dark blue as well.
