Removing junk under door molding

Removing junk under door molding Bought a vehicle that has this junk under the door molding. I can get some of it with finger nail but going to take forever. Tried goo gone and wd40 no help. Any ideas to try without screwing up the paint? Not sure if it's just years of dirt or the molding glue seeped down.
