Hi got a 02 SS came with a front plate bracket from the factory. I would like to remove it for a better appearance but Im unsure how to. Anyone removed one or know of a thread? Is it even worth it or a rare option ?

Hole drilled right into the front end grills! Real nice way to take away from the design on the car.
A few screws to remove and pop it off, but you'll be left with holes. Can try and find a new grill or a used one without the screw holes.
My '97 Ram-Air was the same way, but those holes were directly drilled into the front end bumper. I wasn't happy about that.
just un bolt it and be done. nothing rare about it, you can still buy them from SLP. I put one on my car cause I would rather drill under the bumper where you cant see than the front.
Well I tried to unscrew the 2 on the bottom of the bumper they won’t budge. Do I need to remove the grill to remove it?
there are nuts on the other sides of the screw holding them on...you need to undo the bottom of your bumper so you can get to them. It's real easy takes like 20 mins
