Default 1998-2002 Camaro Dick Harrell Style Front Bumpers

You asked for it, so we're making it! A DICK HARRELL STYLE FRONT BUMPER!!!

We previously offered our own "edgier" version...

However it didn't sell that well so when we offered it for the LT1s we made it match the Dick Harrell cars more...

Those sold well however the manufacturer couldn't keep up and started rushing so we saw fitment issues. We DROPPED that manufacturer and are now have the LT1 style made by a different manufacturer and the quality is EXTREMELY better.

We are now using the same new manufacturer to bring the 1998-2002 Dick Harrell style bumper to the market.

No prototype pictures yet but we are taking the bottom half of our LT1 bumper, marrying it to the LS1 bumper, comparing it to an ACTUAL in house Dick Harrell car and making ANY adjustments needed to make sure the finished product is JUST LIKE THE DICK HARRELL cars.

These are made by our new manufacturer so they will me MUCH better quality than the previous versions. They are a flexible fiberglass so if you are ever in an accident any competent body shop can repair it so you don't have to buy another one.

They are pricey but they are higher quality and these were only offered on $100,00+ cars and now you can have it for YOUR Camaro and your money buys you MADE IN THE USA BETTER THAN OEM QUALITY!!!

THIS IS A PRESALE FOR $200 OFF so you only pay $550 instead of $750. The bumper is going to be finished next month (February) and then production begins. It will take 6-8 weeks from that time for the first order to ship BUT we are giving them to you BELOW our cost so we can hit the ground running and (hopefully) get installed pictures back from you to use on the site.

ONLY THE FIRST TEN GET IT AT THE DISCOUNTED PRICE (after that we're taking the link down so if you still can see the ordering page, you can still order and be one of the ten) Here's the ordering page...

Thanks!

Question, is the grille area sunk in like the DH cars or will it retain a more stock grille with just the DH lip?

Great question!

On the SUNOCO car, the first wide body that GMMG copied for the DH cars, the grille area was GONE (two bars were used to attach their grille to).

On the Dick Harrell Cars the grille opening is just like factory and you can use any LS1 style grille you want...

THAT BEING SAID, that's just the GENERAL rule we've come up with through research. It seems SOME (maybe earlier ones?) DH cars did NOT have the factory style opening and were just cut out, however we've found the opposite as well.

We're making ours so that you can mount any LS grille to it OR you can cut the area out (if you have an inter cooler to show off for example).

It will basically look like this but with the LS1 top half...

Great thanks for the clarification. I have always loved the Sunoco grille, which is what I was thinking about, but I love my SLP one also.

Does it have the little clip retainer holes like a stock bumper has for the grille or would that be up to the end user to cut out?

End user would have to cut or just use screws. We removed the holes and the CAMARO indent in case people wanted to run no grill and still look good.

Is the bumper going to have all the same mounting points like the oem one? I would like to have it look like a factory piece.

Well Hey Mark, since your online I do have another question about the bumper. Around the bottom of the grille area, I notice its a lot more flat from the front of the lip to where it meets the grille area on the DH cars as compared to the LT1 DH you guys made, will these be more flat in that area? You know what I mean? or is that just the way these pictures presents itself.

vs.

I would REALLY want it to be exactly like the DH cars in every way. Thanks

If you look at the two of them you can tell easily, the mcnord has a straight edge on the bottom and this DH is rounded. What I didn't like about the mcnord one was the fact that the bottoms of each panel around the entire car are rounded and the mcnord just looks very out of place with the edgy bottom.

It looks great if you have all the other ground effect pieces to match like mcnord has but if not it just looks awkward. I believe this is Marks car but look here

And try to ignore the molded fenders and quarter panels of the DH car but focus on the GFX, or lack thereof, and how they ate rounded to match the bumper
