What did you do to make them sit as low as stock? Custom bracket?

I had them in my 69 Camaro. They were nice seats, the brackets were nice too. One thing that I didn't like about then. They are WIDE. I am 5'10, 190Lbs and the seat wouldn't hold me at all.
