Headlight housings on 2002 camaro I got the single angel eye headlight housings that look like modded oem ones in Black. Currently running hids and was wondering if I would need to cinvetc to LEDs if I went with one of the projector housing set ups. As I don't want them to melt. Any advice would be appreciated.

35W HID kits will work in most all headlight housings (projectors or not). When you jump to 55W and a projector, I'd ask the manufacturer if it is rated to handle the extra heat since if not, the bowl will get destroyed killing your output. As for LEDs, the light itself will not produce heat however keep an eye on the heat sink design to see if that will work well.
