97 Camaro Z28 Conversion to 02 OEM SS SLP Spoiler Hey everyone,
Quick question:
I bought a 02 OEM SS SLP Spoiler to put on my 97 Camaro Z28. I keep reading about “wiring issue” that cause the loss of CC and ABS INOP. I have yet to see a thread specifically about a 97 Camaro (which is identical to a 98-02 minus the front end appearance and motor). Would my car require the addition of the resistor and/or relay to make the LED light in the spoiler work?
My my thinking is because I have the LS1 taillights and I have heard of some 97 using LS1 parts except for motor and front end. I have also read that some people with LT1 pre97 had no wiring issue, simply plug and go with lights.

I Installed one of my 96 Z28 and have no issues at all.... But I also had one on my old 94 and the abs inop/brake lights were on...so it depends, closer to LS years I think it will work
