Gonna change the look a lot once you lower it. Good advice on the hose mod! I did the bmr springs/hose mod and my stance is perfect. Make sure you post pics

Definitely a great find. Tried to buy one that was actually raced, even at Watkins Glen but guy just wouldn't budge on price. Can't wait to see finished pics

Supposed to be nice this Friday... Crossing fingers that I can get it done then.

Jawz…. So you were trying to buy a 1LE? This car is pretty nimble "as is".. Should ride on rails w the Strano's.. Removed the spare tire and all of that to reduce weight even more. In all of the years I have bought and sold 4th gen fbods.. I have never come across a 1LE... This one was a fluke.. I have always been fond of the 96-97 BTM cars. When I saw this one in a barn w only 28K miles I was intrigued.. When I asked him to send me the RPO codes and I saw the 1LE... I knew that I had to have it. It is truly a very solid car!

So, the one you were looking at... How many miles? color? What was he asking?

One I wanted was a 94 I believe. From PA. Had around 70K,, was professionally raced and maintenance kept like a NASCAR. Had small cage and a bulletproof suspension built by original owner himself. He wanted 9,, I had 7,,,wouldn't budge! The more I see yours the more I absolutely love it. That car definitely fell into the right hands(as I can tell from before/after engine bay pics&#128513. Hope you get to enjoy it as driving them is much better than parking,,even as much as we want them to stay perfect. Sold a low mile, tastefully modded, beautiful car to buy a higher mile SS that I'm not scared to drive and it's been best thing I've done lately lol

That car looks mint. Nice find! I wouldn't mind painting mine that color.

Being a 1 of 3 in 96 in that color and 1 in tan I wouldn't have touched that car. Great find!

You know "dude"... I thought of that. It is a "rare" car indeed. I feel as though the Strano's add to the car in terms of form and function. The Borla definitely is a plus. K&N CAI, air foil, STB can all be removed. I have all of the stock pieces. Hopefully getting the windows tinted this week. I have been away (Military) for the past few weeks. Taking it to a local car show (Cars N coffee) here in Dallas this weekend.

Picking up a personal tag this week as well. It needs a headliner as this one is sagging. Other than that the car is flawless... Also picked up some new mirrors that I plan on having painted the body color, i'll keep the black ones as well.

Just a few tasteful mods to make it "mine" you know. Car shows, sunny day weekend cruiser is why I purchased it. I have an 08 Z06 (H/C/I/E) that I normally drive on weekends. I put maybe 4K miles per year on it, i'll put even less on the Z28... Struggling with adding Kooks and calling it a day.

Thanks for the kind words. Its truly a great car.
