Default 400hp decal where to place?

Before I installed my headers I ran 338rwhp. I'm going to dyno shortly and hope for 350+ so i can get a 400hp sticker ( 15% drive train lose) Just curious where people got the decals, and where did you put them?
Thanks

-Steve

put it on your toilet near the handle til you put down 400 at the wheels.

Keep it pure and don't be a poser.

If you have 400 horsepower at the flywheel and you put a 400 HP sticker on your hood your a poser? If the guy is making 400 horsepower, he has the right to show it off reguardless if hes putting it out at the wheels or not, besides, what better to scare ricers than a 400 HP decal. If I was making 400 at the wheels through my auto I would get a 500 HP sticker

If you have a WS6, do what I did. I got the blackbird stripes that go along the raised sides of the hood and had a 390 HP stickers/stripes made (car has 392.6 HP at rear wheels, but don't want to scare people away with a 500 HP sicker). I think it truly looks the best. If I knew how to post pics, I would show ya. Everytime I try to upload, thay come out too large to upload the files. P.S.-signature is outdated, many more toys added to increase HP including 100 HP wet shot.

When I used to race on a regular basis, it was in a heavily modified '82 Firebird. When I showed up to the track, the car was plain black. No stickers, not even the Firebird logos. All I had to do was idle up beside them to scare them. Not that the exhaust was loud, but it was an old school well built 350 with dual exhaust, so it rumbled accordingly. I could take almost anyone. Before I retired it, the best car that beat me was a guy in an El Camino who had wrecked his 'late model' oval track car a few weeks before, so dropped the drivetrain into the El Camino. It wasn't a local track, so I didn't know about this til after the last race, and the locals told me. No wonder I lost, he had about 600hp.

My current T/A ('00 WS/6) doesn't have anything external to show that it's anything but stock, but just the Y pipe mod makes it sound a bit more obvious. If I roll down the windows, and they see the NOS gauge showing the tank full and the blue indicator saying it's armed, then they may get the hint. I avoid showing this off, except to friends.

Why say 400hp? You'll have to prove it. Once you've proved it in your 'sleeper', then they can ask, and you can say "Oh ya, I at 400hp. You shouldn't have played with me."

I did the sticker thing once on my '82, one sticker for every mod, in the back window. It made people thing I was showing off more than driving to win. My favorite racer was a guy in an old rotary Mazda wagon. It looked like it belonged in a junk yard, but he could take almost anyone at the track. It was driven by an old guy who really enjoyed his car.

At least this guy dynoed his car before he starts telling people how much power he has. My ex-girlfriend's friend's dad has an 80's el camino and he claimed it had like 415 horsepower, and somehow ran 11's. don't know how that would be phsysically possible unless his car weighed like 2000 pounds. When I called him out on it, he changed his story, and that it was a !!!!rebuilt!!!! 350. not a "fully built" or whatever a good term would be, but a rebuilt one. what would a rebuilt 350 from the 80's be? like 250 at the most? This guy didnt even have aftermarket exhaust, and he definitely didnt have nitrous, and declined to race me, just that he would hand me my ***...what a dump piece of doo doo.

Yeah, I'd skip the sticker.

In any event though, putting a flywheel HP sticker on the car isnt the worst thing in the world. I would just put something small like the others were saying, on the hood.

I'm going to stick with the stealth look and put nothing on, if i had a aftermarket hood i might, but the only decals that are on are the RAM AIR ones. Plus the decals are wind resistance. ><

I like the stealth look myself. But it will look good with the decal.
