Default Buffer guys....

I'm looking to purchase an orbital buffer to do the waxing, etc. on my car. My question is, what's a reasonably priced buffer ($50-75)? I saw a craftsman 10" buffer at Sears the other day for $65, looked pretty nice. I see alot of people like 6" buffers it seems. Whats the best one, and where can I get the proper pads for the buffer (either Meguirs or microfiber pads) since I can't stand swirl marks?

Another off-topic question...I can never seen to get that little plastic triangular piece next to the windows on the doors clean...what do you guys use/reccommend?

Thanks in advance.

I have a 10" Delco buffer and it's great for the big areas, but when it comes to the tight spots, I still break out the towel and do it by hand.

If you're looking to get rid of swirl marks, a buffer just doesn't have the OPM (orbits per minute) to really get it done. For that, you really need a dual-action polisher like a Porter Cable. www.properautocare.com has a ton of useful information and good package deals on polishes, waxes, pads, and towels.

Save up and buy the Porter Cable. IT'S WORTH IT There's no sense, IMO, to waste money on anything else.

I have the Craftsman professional. I like it and have never had a need for anything else. It also has a nice hard-case that some of the others I looked at didn't.
