I only find two handed buffers......are there any that you can hold and buff the car with one hand...? Like one of the small one-handed vibrating sanders.

All the two handed ones are...well.....just too damn big.

Nothing with enough power to correct anything m

What's wrong with a normal one?

Yes, I use it all the time. Get a 5in. backing plate and a 3in. if you wanna get into smaller areas. I actually have it with me right now doing a black '69 Mach 1
It has a 3in. backing plate on it right now.

Really the Trans Am only has the one hard to reach spot....under and around the rear spoiler.

I'll go that DA today at Harbor Freight......

I have Griots products to try out......Meguiars Ultimate Wax to seal..... I'll clay it, then correct, then seal.

Thanks.

Which color pads do I need? Just for very minor correction, then to apply the sealant wax?

My Trans Am paint is excellent.....our Porsche Macan paint is almost flawless. I also do a couple other cars for family members that are very new cars.

So just the basic pads are needed.

Thanks.

The blue and black ones will be fine. Use compound with the black one and if you're not getting the results you want try the blue pad.

Ok, so the blue is for corrections.......?

Black to apply final sealant....?

But you're saying black is fine if the paint is in great shape already to do both correction and seal......?

Does Harbor Freight sell all these pads too....?

Every brand pad has a different color scheme but the recommendation I gave you was for harbor freight pads.
The polisher comes with a 6in. backing plate. They do not sell 5in. backing plates or pads, only 6in. So if you are going to go with the backing plate that comes with it get the 6in. pads.

Yes, with the black pads you can try compounding with them. The reason I say this is if you can get the correction you are looking for with the black pad it will finish down really nice. If you're not getting the results you want then get more aggressive with the pad and go to the blue.

Harbor Freight has a new forced rotation DA. Should be the best of both worlds.

I called three Harbor Freights asking about that new type of DA polisher.....they all said they never heard of it.

Do you know who else sells them?
