Ash Tray Spring?
Ash Tray Spring? Hi All, I am looking for an Ashtray Cover Spring - GM (10291612) which is discontinued and on eBay the only one I found is $44!!! I had a 93 Sunbird with a similar ash try but it was an auto and different length legs. I have some small gauge spring wire I can use to make one but I don't know how big it is supposed to be (the 2 ends, the size of the circle, etc.). Anyone with a roller car that could sell me one or measure and let me know so I could make on myself?

I'd recommend the junkyard. You can probably get it for free. Managers often don't care about tiny parts.
In my case, my ashtray lid had broken legs/tabs for years and was floppy. I have a 3D printer now so I made a permanent lid/cover that is screwed on from underneath.
