Headlight housing change

Headlight housing change Since my new tail light housings are on their way, turning my attention to the headlight housings. I had the old single halo style and looking to get the dual. Question is, would led's be bright enough for the headlights or should I go HID instead. These housings do have projectors.

The projector in those isn't the greatest. However you can swap out the projector with a Mini-H1 (HID) projector if you are handy. Otherwise, you'll have to experiment with which will look better in those projectors (HID vs LED). I'm guessing HID will be better unless you find a good LED set.

No, those LED bulbs look bad. You want the LED in a thin line that emulates the original filament shape/size/.position, but just a blob.
Something like these below, there are multiple similar ones:
These are examples of 9005 and H1 bulbs that have the filament parallel to the bulb glass. An H3 bulb has the filament perpendicular to the glass so for a housing that uses an H3 bulb, you'd need the LEDs in a perpendicular line.
Dual filament bulbs like H4 will have 2 lines of LEDs and the correct cap/cup just like the original bulb.
Make sure you get LED bulbs that can be rotated so the you can correctly orient/clock the LED bulb in the housing. The LEDs should be pointing left and right in the housing.

EDIT: Although many Camaro projector housings use H1 bulbs for low beam, I found a set similar to the ones above on ebay that use 9005 bulbs.
