Default valve cover emblems

I have a set of billet valve covers and I have been debating getting a Pontiac arrow head to put on.

Anyone ever done anything similar and if so What did you use to mount them with RTV? 3m tape?

I use heat to secure my emblems, I highly recommend it!

Powder coated over the vynil? Don't think that would work in my case cause the emblems are raised

I use vinyl as masking, pull it when the powder starts flowing. But I was more saying you could do a Pontiac arrowhead emblem powder coated and sealed in with clear. If you're set on the raised emblem, I can't help.

Depends on how permanent you want the emblems. If you're absolutely 100% permanent, some form of epoxy that can handle high heat would be ideal. Otherwise research the failure point of the adhesive on double sided tape. I think 3m makes some high heat stuff, but I haven't seen it for a while.

Also if you don't mind me asking, what kind of air lid is that?

@HappySalesman thanks yeah I reached out to 3m they said they didnt have anything when I said on valve cover. How ever searching i have found a few options, but its not something easily purchased. they make a highheat for engine compartment tape but its not listed on their site and only place I have found it is on ebay outside the US in 60yard rolls for $$$.

the lid was made by stealth composites dont think the are around anymore and ive never seen another airbox like it. it uses the C4 corvette filter and sets equally across the radiator support. I never liked the asymetrical appearance of the OE airbox so it was a selling point.

Okay I found a product I'm gonna try. It's actually meant to install heat exchangers onto circuit boards. Can handle 250f so I'm gonna use that to put the emblems on the valve covers

for those interested this is what I ended up doing. Didn't like the emblems on the valve covers it just looked out of place and busy. Ignore the gm mark of excellence it didn't stay
