The hood was on the car when I bought and I really like it but I'm not positive that it's a superhawk hood. I'm pretty sure it's not one of Roger's superhawk hoods cause the quality is not the best. Can anyone tell what hood this is by the pics?
I have one one of Roger's hoods on my car, and yours does look real close, but i'm not 100% sure... I attached a photo of the underside of my hood, the molding seems a bit different along the sides, near the front, by the head lights.
Kev98ta were your heat extractor functional?
Also was your ram air cut out clean? Mine was cutout sloppy but I cleaned it up with an air saw.

I have a Superhawk hood too, but it was damaged in an accident. The heat extractors are functional. The cutouts for the heat extractors are on the vertical support near the hood strut mounts. The ram air cutout was a clean rectangle.

Thanks for the link was wanting to make the extractors functional but wasn't sure where to cut. It looks like it's a knockoff but it is actually pretty well made and fits well. One more question I stupidly opened hood when I had car up on my quickjacks and put a chip in nose of the hood. How would I fix a chip in a fiberglass hood?
I haven't done much bodywork, so take my advice with a grain of salt. If it's just that little bit of damage in the photo, you might be able to use glazing & spot putty.

I know Bondo spot & glazing putty can be used on fiberglass. I haven't looked into any other brands. If I was planning on repainting the hood, I would give that a try.
If you aren't planning on repainting the hood, you might be able to fill that damage with touch up paint and clear coat. Its not ideal, but it will save you lots of time and money.
