Anything I can do to restore this dash? 
Either its sun damaged or maybe I sprayed some crap on it a few years back that did this, but I want to hopefully fix it. If I spray some armorall on it it temporarily looks good but as soon as it dries it goes back to looking like this. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hard to tell if it's a film that's ON the dash, or damage TO the top layer.
I'd probably try cleaning a small area of it with Simple Green and see if it gets better.

Can’t find any pics since it was so long ago, but my dash had a similar fading to it and I applied some 303 aerospace protectant that breathed some new life into it. Would be worth a shot

Got some simple green, diluted it 1:10 and gave it a good scrub. Looks maybe a little better but there's still definitely some discoloration. Could be a combination of grime and sun damage...maybe I'll try that 303 stuff and see how it looks. Thanks for the replies.

303 is fantastic, that's the only protectant that I use for all interior trim/plastic/rubber/etc. Hard to beat this product. But it's not a cleaner, only a protectant. With that said, it can improve faded pieces but it won't permanently reverse serious fading or damage (so reapplication would be necessary).

I would get a bottle of M40 and hit it hard the while dash. Let it sit each time and do not wipe it off. It will probably take several times using an applicator pad. M40 is designed to restore and protect. It has been around since the 60s. I use it on all of my clients cars and my own personal cars. You can try other things, but I know for a fact this will restore older vinyl back and keep it that way. Meguiars really did good with that one.
