New Ceramic Coat
Just gave Sara her 25th birthday gift, got her professionally ceramic coated at a "Ceramic Pro Elite" dealer. I purchased the "lifetime warranted coating", along with their yearly maintenance package. The total cost was $1850, a lot less than 25 years of paying a detailer.
My experience with this company was awesome, and I believe they are nation wide. This was my second vehicle done by them, my SUV is outside 24/7, in high heat (Southern California). I have found that all I need to do is rinse the car off (jet stream), and wipe it down with a micro fiber cloth. Nothing seems to stick to the finish. Here is a picture of Sara. 2001 Z28

I wanted to be very clear on this, Sara is a road warrior. There was a lot of paint.Correction that had to take place on her, there was several rock chips on the hood that even with the correct GM touchup paint, it still looks like a rock chip with paint applied over it, also on the 24-year-old rims. The powder coating is peeling on two of them.
Very nice!! Money well spent and WAY cheaper than a quality paint job. I certainly can relate as I tired of the rock chips on my front bumper (had it painted) and had to replace the wheels a few years back too due to bead rim area leaking.
When these cars are 'keepers', every penny spent is worthwhile. The newer cars have so many electronics and issues in comparison, this money we spend is small potatoes.

Last week I repainted a couple of my TTM wheels. Turned out better than expected. Not 100% perfect but good enough for a car that's driven and not a trailer queen.
