Default question about buffing

After applying the wax on your car what is the best thing to use, to buff it out, other than a automatic buffer. Thanks for any feedback

I think you have only 2 choices,
by hand
by buffer

no that's not what i meant, what i meant was what type of cloth or rag would you recommend using when buffing by hand.

i just use terry cloth (towels), and finish with a t-shirt like material cloth to get the last of the dust off.

www.pakshak.com has some nice microfiber towels. The all purpose work great for removing waxes and polishes. The Ultra-Fine works great for final details and quick detailing. The waffle weaves work amazingly for drying your car and glass.

I like microfiber but cotton will work.

To dry, I use cotton towels and the water blade. The waffle weave towels are the best though.

It's just the way that they are constructed. The waffle pattern is built to absorb and hold more water.

I sure don't pay anywhere near what Microfiber Tech is asking

I pay about half that. That place is way too high.

Country Boy - I actually get mine for $12. PM me if you want information.

Fishv12 - IMO, they work much better than chamois.

if you have a dark color stay away from tee shirts, well, and anything other than
microfiber/100% white cotton..
either will work and i use both.
