Turn Signal Vent Mod
ive seen the turn signals in the side vents and i really like it, my question is would it be possible to stick a neon in there and wire it up or even just a neon to come on when the headlights are on?...i would most likely use a white neon...

Sure that would be easy enough. I used turn signals so they have a nice diffused and full illumination. Just a neon tube would sort of just highlight the empty area unless its a wide tube or you put a diffractor infront or behind it. You will be able to easily find a place to take off power (if they are low amperage) or to use a relay.

Hi all,
sorry for not seeing the post. Feel free to email me direct with questions.
1. The smoke in the video is some air I was blowing to make the effect, it was winter and like 0 degrees outside, so the exhaust and my breath were visible.
2. I needed 2 relays for the flashers, and one for the DRLs. So yes, they are on all the time and are lit exactly the same as the front turns/DRLs. I had to (in simple terms) make a T tap into each left and right turn signal wire, then ran that to the relay (switched, not power of course).
3. Up on my site, I have directions written out (the main ideas mostly) and diagrams of how to wire in the relays and lights. It's a bunch of reading, but you need to know what's going on before you start blowing fuses :-)
Ciao, Chris
