Default Corvette Engine Cover Question

Has anyone tries to put Vette Engine Covers on a camaro LS1? Is it possible and what mods are necessary? The LS1 is not in a camaro, so I have plenty of room to put them on!! Thanks for the help!!

I'm pretty sure they should just go right on, assuming you have the right year covers.

There is slight modification necessary. I think one part near the back needs to be trimmed down or something. Other than some slight trimming they do bolt right up. Some places even sell them pre-trimmed for installation on F-body cars.

Trimming should be the only issue you have

I'm confused..
Either you have a V6 or a LT1.. Ls1's were dropped into the camaro/firebird. These fuel rail covers will fit, with some minor cutting. It's just gets to be a pain when working under the cowl.
Here are mine.

EDIT-- I see what your saying now--Sorry!-- What kind of car is this?

Sounds like he's saying he has an LS1, but in a different type of car. It was to the best of my knowledge that you only need to cut to get around the wiring harness and air stuff in the back, which if its in a different car, should'nt be a problem. On the front passenger side, may need to clearance a little for the throttle cable bracket, and maybe for the oil dipstick tube, but other than that, same thing as the corvette LS1, so there isnt any reason why they wouldnt work

The LS1 is in a Jeep, so there is plenty of room. I see how the covers clip onto the fuel rail, but what do the bottoms clip into??? Thanks for all the help.

Bottom area of the covers clip on to the small post towers on the coil packs.
