Custom Air Lid Decals - Check it Out! Well I want to be the first to finally be able to spill the beans on the NEW Genuine GM Lisenced Product, being offered by our sponsor: After Thoughts Auto !!!
Custom Air Box Decals!
You want new bragging rights diplayed for all to admire tastefully displayed on your air box? Now you can! After waiting nearly a year for GM Corporate to give After Thoughts Auto the blessing to produce these they are now available. Very similar to the Custom Dash Plaques, you can order your Air Lid Decal with your choice of Horsepower, Torque, Compression Ratio, and Engine Type.
I have had a sample version on my SS for about a year, it looks as good today as it did brand new.

The design is very reminisent of the decal found on many of the GMMG modified cars, now you can have one too!
Install is very straight forward for most, if not all, air boxes, including OEM, the only air boxes that may require a little extra work (such as mine) is the Whisper Lid, that has a slight "orange peal" finish, I'll provide a complete write up on that.

Those looks preeetty sweet. The Trans Am logo looks a little cartoonish though. You Camaro guys have all the fun.
Either way, I'm going to purchase one of these right now. My Ls1 Motorsports sticker is pealing. I guess I'm one fo the lucky ones who has to prep their lid huh

Looks sweet, I'm happy someone is finally making making this, I've wanted one ever since I saw something pretty similar to this on a 2002 ZL1

Yes one can look at it as just a sticker but these are custom made to your specifications, and are printed in tree colors and framed in chrome. If they were mass produced in batches of only limited choices on HP, CR, TQ, and Engine type they would more than likely be cheaper, but anyway, I feel its a great appearance add on for our engine bays, wanted to share.
