All right just finished my new interior, it was pretty easy, the only bad part was that i broke my foglight switch so i have to get a new housing for it, should be done soon.

yeah it was spray paint, i like the contrast between the black and blue and i replaced the red rear filler with the blue trans am decal and i put a blue front plate decal, so i thought it would be good to go with the blue on the inside, i like how it turned out myself, took about 2 hours to do about 4 or 5 coats on each piece.

I am also another one who hates painted interiors. I like CF and Silver Aluminum trimmed Porsches and BMWs. Those don't even count as being painted though, the pieces are really nice quality. Paint doesn't yeild the right look IMO, and makes things cheap.
The blue is just too much IMO. I think you'll probably get sick of it as well eventually. I just don't think it goes well with these cars.

Not bad, although I think minimal is better when painting interior or at least small pieces. Yours looks alright though. As long as you like what you have done, thats all that counts. Here is some pics of mine. By the way even though I think minimal is better I would still paint the upper dash like some others have said. Since you painted the bezel around instrument cluster you need to bring more over to the passenger side to even it out and I think doing the upper dash would execute this. having the same amount or close to the same amount on each side of the car helps balance it out and tie it all in. I'm glad to see someone else try it.

Its me again. I say yeah go back to stock around the instrument cluster, and if blue is what you like, I was thinking maybe you should go w/ some custom floor mats and do the bird stitching in the blue this would bring your front plate look to the inside thus helping tie the inside and outside together, also I'm not sure if you checked out my pics but on the interior doors is nothing more than the emblem that is on the outside of the doors. Do that in your blue. I got mine off e-bay oem gm emblems around 40.00 bucks I think. Here is a link to the floor mats, and I also attached a pic of mine, be careful when ordering I accidently picked charcoal and I needed graphite .http://usspeed.com/

I think i know why you guys arent too thrilled about the blue, the camera that i used picks up certain colors and makes them lighter, the blue in the pic looks a heck of a lot lighter then it really is, i used more a cobalt blue and it didnt quite come out right in the pics, sorry, ill try to get more up soon
