car cover
i need something good. my car sits outside all day (no garage). i want something that:
1. will not scratch the paint
2. is water proof/strict weather resistant (like hail)
3. is going to protect from the extreme heat
4. is easy to put on/off
i think i'm going to have to get a lot of my car repainted soon, so i need something that will definitely meet requirement #1. and water proofness would be nice as well.
i know the california covers are great, but which one of those covers would meet all of the requirements i have? thanks.

TuffLuck,
I was in your same scenario a few years ago with my Mustang...I would even park it with a cover on it underneath our porch until the apt. management said they would file a lawsuit...cause the car was cracking the concrete patio. Unfortunately, the car is now covered in "water" spots that I can't get out from all the acid rain in Atlanta. People thought I was crazy...but I'm just obsessive.

yikes. acid rain sucks a big one.
the car cover i bought (for those of you that have the one from pep boys), is it water proof? it says resistant, but i ran water over it and never once had any leak through. but i was wondering if it's any different when it rains?

I too am in the market for a good cover. Jeg's has all the covercraft models and I think i'll just suck it up and get the top of the line cover. Might as well after I put all this work into preserving the finish, why not be consistent. The "Block It 400 series" is the one i'm thinking of.
