Removing a spot weld?

Removing a spot weld? Just bought exhaust tips off of a guy and didn't know they were spot welded on his car. 
So he hacked the exhaust pipe off... and now I'm stuck with a piece of exhaust pipe inside the tips. 
Is there any way to break the weld? Keep in mind I don't have a welder or any type of powerful heat source.

Eastwood makes a spotweld remover that works really well. All you need is a drill.
It is used mainly for removing spotwelds on body panels but it should work for you as well. You may also be able to find a cheaper version at an autobody supply store or a autoparts store.
