This is the same question I have been trying to answer. My dad and I did a lot of custom fiberglassing to my 95TA to get it to look like this...
I am thinking of fabbing up some lower flipping headlights or projections to fit the stock location. I really like the way the hood and side intakes turned out. It looks like a mix of the LT1 (which it is) and the LS1 WS6, atleast I can say no one else has the same front end as me!

Can't choose just one. It's like 2 favorite flavors of ice cream or something. Both look a hell of a lot better than any Camaro ever has (which is par for the course, really), and are just bad *** in their own way.
The longer, sharper look of the LT1 gives the car a lower, longer, leaner look, and also has to be more aero as well. Plus it also makes the distance from the top of the wheel well opening to the top of the fender look smaller, which is better. And the lack of scoops makes it perfect for forced induction. (to me, adding forced induction supplants "Ram Air" and makes it useless and therefore pointless to have, so it's best done on cars that don't have "Ram Air" - again, IMO)
That said, the LS1 has a sinister look to it. Especially with the WS6 hood. The driving lights also look more at home on that fascia as well. Probably because of the styling of the turn signals and lower openings. And the headlights look better too.
I wanted an 97 WS6 so bad I could taste it but couldn't afford it. When the 98s came out I really didn't like them at all. It took awhile before it grew on me. Now I have an 02 and I love it. But I still want an LT1 T/A as well (for the body, I'd drop an LSx in there. lol).

I guess you all can assume what I voted for. Most of you must hate my car then . The non ws6 TA LT1 front end looks awesome if it is the right color, in my opinion--silver, white, red-orange . Formula lt1's look a bit strange. Ls1 formula's look great, especially ws6's. And the ws6 ls1 is probably the most aggresive front end out there, still. As for the camaro, SS ls1/lt1's look good, but base one's don't do anything for me. I guess I'm partial to firebirds though.
Just my $.02.---later

never liked the LT1 birds, I always thought the front ends were too plain looking. LS1s, a different story. The T/A looks awesome even without WS6. I hated the LS1 Firebird/Formula front end when it first came out, but now I love it (obviously).

Seeing as this is LS1tech, this thread was doomed from the start as far as T/A's are concerned. Though I like the LS1 style, it seems overdone to me. And good lord, when someone puts an even further raised ram air on an LS1 T/A I just have to wonder why...

On a Camaro, just the opposite, I like the LT1 front end much better.
