Clay Bar Remove Clear Coat?

Can a Clay Bar remove Clear Coat if not done correctly? Reason why I ask is my sail panels are kinda blah looking and Im about to own them with this clay bar I bought.
Just don't wanna screw anything up.

No, you won't hurt a thing. Some car manufacturers (exotic) will give their new owners a clay bar as part of an owner care and detail package. Used properly they work extremely well.

Work from top to bottom as well, that reduces the risk of taking any larger items from the bottom and making new scratches trying to take stuff off the top.....![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
A yellow pad with a buffer and 1000 grit compound and sitting on the spot for 20 seconds will take the clear off
