Default Polishing Tips (wrong forum?)

Sorry if it's the wrong forum

But i just wanted to ask if there is a good way to polish tips by yourself. A friend of mine said to use steel wool ... i was stunned... IMO it would damage it... but what do i know? So is there anyone there that could help me?

You want to make them shiny again right.....Yes that Is what I used steel wool. It did scratch pretty good. I have heard of people using dawn soap and water.

Lightbulb

Try one of those plastic scrub type kitchen/dish pads (with soap/water of course) maybe...strong enough but not metal like the steel wool pads.
Also some Mother's (or similar) type metal polish helps.

You mean those green scrubs that are used to scrape food off plates?
