Where is the cotton from that t-shirts are made out of? Probably not 100% made in USA cotton.

Plus, t-shirts lack nap. If dirt, etc. is picked up by a t-shirts, you are going to drag it all over the car.

I usually wait around 12-24 hours for the wax to dry. Is that a bad thing to do?

Waist of time. I do the whole car and by the time I am done I can start buffing where I started waxing. A good test is to take your buffing towel and make about a 6-12" line in the wax. If it smears, it's not dry, if it's clean it's ready to buff.

I am unsure of the negatives of leaving wax on too long. The only thing that comes to mind would be dust and dirt that collects while waiting. When you buff it you would be rubbing in the dirt into the wax and finish. Not to mention moisture. If it is a humid day or night, moisture can collect and re activate the eccess wax.

Leaving the wax on too long just makes it harder to get the wax off, and the extra force required to remove it could very easily scratch your clearcoat. I personally don't leave it on any longer than what the manufacturer recommends!

It really depends what product you are using. The longer you leave Wolfgang on, the easier it is to remove. It's amazingly simple.

Way to be open-minded. You know what they say, ignorance is bliss.

BTW, what other high end products have you tried?

Nothing else really. I've been very pleased with zaino.

How can you say nothing else will touch the car if you haven't tried other products.

Believe me (us) when I say it, there is no one "best" product for your car, despite the hype you may be reading. Try a few other things when you pick up those microfibers and that buffer - you'll be pleasantly surprised

true but I like the way zaino works and I dont have the money to go and spend it on other random products just to see if its any better. Don't fix whats not broken is my motto.

TOM...my long lost buddy...where have you been?

freaky - you're being a typical car forum person who believes in nothing but Zaino and at the same time has used nothing else. You are missing out on a whole world of awesome products just because you think it's cool to have Zaino on your car. Kinda silly to me...

I understand, more power to you.

If you do get the opportunity, myself and a few others can name some products that might (definetely will) make your car look even better.

Zane I'm here - lurking albeit. Lots of travel/busynes with the job - but I'm still around. Grab me on IM - thats been the best way to get ahold of me as of late.

Haven't posted much, but I still read every last bit (that I can). Slow afternoon today so I'm (finally) dropping a post.

How's the car looking? Still using the wolfgang? I'm still stuck on menzerna/souveran, though I'm itching to try some swissol. Unfortunately my car is garaged 50 miles away for the past/next month due to construction at home, so detailing/driving it is a rare occurence right now.....

Good to talk to ya!

It's not like that, i just like using zaino, sure there are probably better products but if i had the money to go and buy them i would, so for now its zaino. What would you recommend for the future?

There are tons I could recommend. I have really taken a liking to Liquid Souveran lately, but it doesn't have too much durability. It's just a beauty wax.

For durability you can try blackfire or wolfgang. For beauty - souveran liquid or paste.

Zane - try souveran liquid over souveran paste - now THATS beauty.

Actually, my Liquid Souveran is sitting on top of some Wolfgang right now. It is dripping wet.

One of these days, I'll spring for the Souveran paste.
