Default where to get custom interior made???

I have not visited the board for a while, but didn't we have a sponser that did custom leather swaps? I remember they did a few gps too. Does anyone have their website they could post? I want to replace my two front seats...

thanks,

mikie

We did have an authorized Katzkin retailer as a sponsor, but I'm not seeing them on the list anymore. I wonder what happened.

yeah, does anyone remember the name of the katzkin sponser? Oh, and I know about Kens Kustom Kornor, but they are a little too expensive for my taste...

I learned the hard way . . . you get what you pay for with 100% custom stuff. 2 leather interiors later . . . (and way too much $$$)

Is Ken's expensive . . maybe . . but qualtiy is superior!

Thanks guys. I am VERY happy with the seats now. My own design blending Z06 flair into a TA seat installed in a Camaro!

Evern square inch of the seat is leather, no vinyl. Ken even got rid of the hard plastic back and the "accordian" things on the side, that GM felt were necessary for the articulating side bosters.

I'm a repeat customer of Ken's Kustom Korner. I'm having Ken do the entire interior of my Grand Sport.

How much to get it done if you don't mind. I was thinking of doing something similar.

If memory serves me correctly it was close to $4,000. But that includes the embroidery, 100% leather and, a totally custom design where no templates or patterns were available.

When it comes to my car, I twisted . . .

You get what you pay for.. you may save some $$ but you will have crocked stitching.. baggy fit and other "shortcuts"

Or you could get aftermarket seats like I did and then have the rest of the interior done to match..

How would you compare the seat that was done by Kens Kustom Korner to the Katzkin seat material?

I can't compare, since I have never sat on or touched a Katskin in person.

I went with custom, since I wanted to change the "design" of the leather, where Katskin is a catalog cut.
