Default grille suggestions???

what grille would go good with my car? the reason i ask is because the one i had on it got ran over by my mom as i was washing the car the other day... ....so im stuck driving without any sorta grill...and was considering either going back with the same billet grill...or the slp bowtie grille....i have also been considering cuttin holes on the sides and setting up a true ram air system by myself...i have seen others do it...and its not hard at all....any suggestions guys?

heres a link to my cardomain for more pics of the car...just so yall can get a better look at the car as opposed to the unclear pic in my sig....gotta change that up as well....Cardomain page

THis is not a knock on anyone who has a bowtie grill BUT...The look of the grill doesnt match the price, to me it looks to generic for it to cost that much. At the right price its a step up from the stock cover, but for my tastes the billet grilles add so much to the look of your car.

I would go with the same grill again. I have an identical car. Rims and all. I would suggest that you paint behind the grill flat black before installing the new grill though. I think that sets it off so much more.

I say go with the Bowtie. I'm not a fan at all of the billet grilles. They just seem really ghetto to me. No offense to those who have it. Just my opinion.

Either Billet or the Wings West and put any badge you like on the front.

Get the SLP grill and paint the bowtie silver. Then it would look good on your car.

i have a pewter SS too, and if you look at my homepage, i have several shots of it. after rims and paint, it's the most noticeable part of your car with the hood down! but hey, i'm partial to it, and would buy it again. it was the first visual mod i did and in 1 1/2yrs., no chips, fading, cracking, nothing! great piece. now, if you do go billet again, definately repaint the back area flat black. and yes, you should do minor sanding just to break the surface. use something like 220 grit or less. remember, you're just giving the paint something to adhear to. wash it first with mild detergent soap, rinse well, sand, and rinse again. that should be more than enough to insure that it stays on for a good long time.

later,
Dave
