Ws6 Firehawk Wing Swap I Have A Ws6 And I Just Bought The Firehawk Wing With The Long Led Break Light. How Do I Swap Them....and The One I Got Is Missing The Light...where Can I Buy A Replacement.

Swapping the wing should be real easy. I just finished up replacing the hatch (including disassembly and assemply of the SS spoiler) on my Z28 tonight.
As far as the wing goes... find the trim piece on the underside of the hatch that covers the tail portion. (should be 3 trim pieces on the hatch... two skinny curved ones that go up towards the top/front of the car and one wide piece that crosses the back where the latch pokes through) Yank it off carefully, it's just held with plastic tree fasteners and it kinda hooks under the other trim pieces on the two sides. Spoiler should be held on with 4 bolts going through the deck lid under that trim piece. Brake light should have one connector on the... passenger? side.
Off the top of my head, I'm not sure if you'll need it on that particular vehicle, but make sure you've got some double sided 3M foam tape to seal any areas like around the area where the wires pass through the deck lid and if you have any supports in the middle of the hatch...
This all may not make much sense now, but if you yank that one trim piece off and take a look at it, it will clear up quite a bit. Go ahead and send me a PM if you need any help although I won't be able to get back to ya until monday since I'm moving to ohio on friday. =)

I love that spoiler, but only if I could pick up one for cheap or trade. You now have the best hawk spoiler IMO.Here's mine:
Sweet lights... I'd like to do that one day, but need the cash... And my friends keep telling me to make my car faster instead of appearance.
actually i thought i had the wing and then with a minute left in the auction i lost it by 1 dollar...it went for 401, i was willing to go as high as i had to but i guess he was just quicker on the keyboard maybe one day i'll see another one on ebay cuz i don't think i'm willing to spend a grand on a wing.
