Default Side molding delete of CAMAROS

I've seen alot of ta's with it done but what about Camaros? I wanna see what it looks like before I go ripping mine off.

I removed the side moldings and side Z28 badges from mine along with the front grill. I think it looks MUCH better this way.

Down here, its rare to see a Camaro WITH side molding, all the cars I looked at had it removed already, in fact I didnt even realize they had molding intil months after I bought the car.

I used a hair dryer to heat up the "sticky stuff" and I pulled it off. Then I rubbed my thumb across the left over "sticky stuff." If that doesn't work, get some adhesive remover spray and spray it on the "sticky stuff."

I just peeled up a corner with my fingers and pulled them off. I got the rest of the glue off the car by rubbing it with my thimb.

Its still noticable to whomever owns the car. You always have more stuff getting on your nerves than the average joe relizes. Its pretty simple and I did this to my TA as well as my camaro. Happy Holidays.

They are the same way around here too... I always park as far away from the stores as possible in the hopes that some dick won't purposefully park next to me and try to dent my door. My last car looked like a minefield!

I think that removing the side moldings is a very noticeable visual improvement. Even my Dad was impressed with the the difference that it made, and he usually doesn't like to change ANYTHING about a car. Just maintenance, cleaning, and gas. It's all of the details that come together to achieve the overall look the owner is going for.

I think they must have been part of an option package or something... PendragonZ's car doesn't have them either and his car is a stripper or 1LE also.

I tried doing mine today in 40 degree weather and it came off very easily. But unfortunetely, a dark outline was left in the places where the car was repainted. We tried absolutely everything to get it off but it was in the paint and no luck... so we had to put it back on. It look so awesome with it off and I wish i could have it...

Derek98z, your car is as naked as mine. I almost went with Pro-Stars too, but found a great deal on some ZR1s.
