No one knew that? I guess everyone's different...it took me exactly 1 trip to the gas station to find mine. Weird. BTW, my TA is a 98.

The only problem is my strap isn't long enough. It doesn't even come close. I think in JRP's FAQ it said that 98 was the only year the strap was long enough.

Yep, my 2000 had one until it snapped off after sliding into a shrub....stupid ice. Mine never really was quite long enough either....it would work, but more times than not it would fall off and smack the side of the car.

oh and just curious, did every camaro come with an ATI procharger kit in the hatch, under the spare tire mat, or just mine?

Well, I just hook the cap flange on the button and it works well. I never tryed the cord until I found this picture the other day....

lol, that's the first thing I noticed when filling my gas up after I bought the car. Mine does not have a cord, but on the inside of the door there is a little holder for the cap to sit in.

I noticed it the first time I filled my car up too. There's no other reason for that little plastic piece to be there

I thought it was there so when you close it it wont make a loud noise. I didnt know it was to hold the cap!

I thought everyone knew that. It's 98's only but you can retrofit one if you're inclined to.
